Description
Celebrate the warmth and strength of the Tuba.
Designed for candidates preparing for AMEB Comprehensive and Repertoire Tuba exams, Tuba Series 2 features an inspiring collection of works selected specifically to support students’ development on the instrument. From Preliminary to Grade 4, each grade book offers both traditional repertoire and fresh works by Australian composers, helping candidates develop instrument-specific skills, whether they are learning on a B♭, C, E♭, or F Tuba.
This Grade 4 book features repertoire by Australian composers Edward Fairlie, Dean Morley, Julie Morley, David Farrands, Jodie Blackshaw, Jane Iszlaub and Christopher Sainsbury, giving learners a chance to explore and perform Australian music. Mud crab Dummer, by Christopher Sainsbury, was commissioned through the AMEB First Nations Composers Program.
For the first time, teachers and candidates can also access a dedicated AMEB Tuba Sight-reading book. Together with the existing Tuba Technical Work & Orchestral Excerpts (2020), these resources align with Tuba Series 2 to support learners in their exam preparation.
