Arrows of Lightning is a work in four movements by the Luxembourgcomposer Marco Pütz. American Indian songs and poems, which includ es a song that translates as “Arrows of Lightning,” served as the inspiration for this composition. In this song, the arrows were charmed by means of singing and dancing so that they would go faster – as fast as lightning.
