Featuring a mixture of Chinese folksongs and appealing original tunes, the pieces in this collection are suitable from beginner level progressing up to Grade 2. Compiled and edited by Wei Weidong (Professor of Oboe at the Central Conservatory of Music, China) and Cao Hui (Associate Professor at the Central Conservatory of Music, China), each piece is arranged for solo oboe with piano accompaniment.
