Description
Christmas Medleys for Students includes favorite Christmas carols that have been skillfully combined into medleys that are perfect for recitals or other performances. Book 1 is arranged at the late-elementary level with the pieces placed in approximate order of difficulty. Complex rhythms have been avoided and only simple eighth-note patterns are used. Key signatures are limited to one sharp or flat. Technical challenges include playing harmonic intervals that stretch up to a seventh, playing root position triads, and using the damper pedal in basic ways.
