Description
The Cat and the Mouse was the first recognized work for piano by Aaron Copland. Based on a poem by La Fontaine the music is incredibly evocative of the cat stalking the mouse with its musical scamperings and scurryings up and down the keyboard and stealthy ominous chords. Did the cat catch the mouse...or does it live to fight another day? Advanced level.
