Description
In "Dorian Haiku," two centuries-old cultural artifacts---one Western (the Dorian mode) and one Eastern (Haiku poetry)---are fused together, resulting in an engaging and beautiful composition for intermediate band. This unique work offers many wonderful opportunities for teaching both musical and cross-curricular concepts. (4:00)
