Eternal Spring is a heartfelt eulogy for bassoonist Robin Sullivan, composed for her husband, trumpetist Robert Sullivan. The work celebrates her life and music (including a quote from Mozart's bassoon concerto) with poignant melodies and an uplifting spirit. Eternal Spring (A Hudson River Idyll) is also available for solo trumpet with chamber orchestra using the same instrumentation as Applachian Spring. For advanced performers.
