The fifth tude from the French composer and pianist Henri Jrôme Bertinis (1798-1876) Opus 100 - 25 tudes faciles et progressives. Bertini composed approximately 500 tudes in his lifetime and was a renowned pedagogue in Paris until 1859. This tude derives from an elementary set without octaves, edited by Adolf Ruthardt.
