After Borstelmann's tremendously successfu l first project with Breitkopf, "Jazzy Birthday" (EB 8770), he now turnshis attention to another big day of the year and spices it up with groo vy yet technically easy jazz riffs 'n' rhythms. While the melodies are either left untouched or only slightly altered, the short preludes are conceived more freely, and they make a good starting point for improvisations. We all know how long those nights before Christmas can be.
