Description
A musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's heartbreaking fairy tale. It is written by Carl Davis with libretto by children's author Hiawyn Oram. This is a great school musical designed for middle school, it will capture the imagination of both staff and students alike. The scoring for the work can be flexible, either using just piano accompaniment, or incorporating student instrumentalists and percussion, allowing all performers to create a version suitable to local resources.
