Description
Nature's Way is a colleciton of songs in a variety of styles thatadd real humor to the concept of the food chain. The five songs, and re prise of the opener, are linked with short paragraphs of dialogue, allowing the collection to be used as a short musical; or the songs can be sung independently as classroom material. The songs humorously portray howthe fly becomes lunch for the spider; the spider becomes lunch for the frog; the frog becomes lunch for the big-mouth bass; and the big-mouth bass becomes lunch for the fisherman. If you choose to present Nature's Way as a mini-musical, staging and constuming can be as simple or elaborate as you like. Whether used in the classroom or on a stage, students will love this fun reminder that “wild creatures, both great and small, are part of a natural food chain. It's nature's way!” Grade Level: K-3; Perf. Time: Approx 20 minutes.
