Description
Piano Safari Chord Progressions are designed to correlate with the chord progression introduced in Piano Safari Level 3. The keys of C Major, A Minor, G Major, E Minor, F Major, and D Minor are included.
Ideas for using these cards include:
- Give the student cards for the chord progression in a certain key. The student puts the cards in order and plays the progression on the piano.
- Have the student sort the cards by key signature and identify which cards match the major chord progression of that signature and which match the minor chord progression.
- Have the student identify the key of a card and name the chord, such as, “F over C, IV 6/4 in the key of C Major.” The student then plays the chord on the piano.
