This is an arrangement for string quartet of J. S. Bachs final prelude (BWV 869) from Book 1 of the 48 (The Well-Tempered Clavier). Louis Andriessens arrangement includes a viola part that starts with six bars by Igor Stravinsky, taken from Stravinskys own arrangement for strings.
