Filled with tuneful melodies and an energetic lilt throughout, <i>Cloud Dancing</i> is sure to have great appeal for students as well as audiences. There is a wealth of teachable elements as well; developing confidence in 3/4, use of simple mixed meters in the slow middle section, and brief solo opportunities for Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax, and Trumpet. Enjoyable as well as educational.
