,BUSHWHACKER STOMP is based upon a simple fiddle-style tune in D major, the main feature of which is a chromatic first finger slide. the theme is initially presented in two parts and develops into four as,the piece progresses. All instrumentalists except the bass have the opportunity to play the tune. A descant line provides further challenge to violinists. A huge favorite!
