Description
Composed 1927 Sonatine Op 100 was a successor to the 1922 Sonatine he had written for flute and piano. Harsh, slightly dissonant, broody and joyous this work is reminiscent of a village wind band again demonstrating Milhaud's affinity for popular music genres.
