A wonderful way to learn about sharing and the spirit of cooperation with our delightful rendition of the old well-loved story. Villagers hide all their food to avoid helping three weary foot soldiers. The hungry, but clever, soldiers coax the community members into sharing their food bysuggesting ingredients to add to the “stone soup” they're m aking. When the soup is ready to eat (much improved by the villagers' contributions), they all sit down to a community supper. Grade Level: K-6.Perf. Time: Approx. 20 minutes.
