This atmospheric work for mixed voices is a contemporary reflection on Benjamin Brittens The Cuckoo, the third song in his well-loved Friday Afternoons set. Commissioned by the London Youth Choir, Swallows was first performed by the choir on 22 November 2013 - the centenary of Brittens birth.
