This short choral piece was commissioned by the Master and Fellows of St Johns College, Cambridge, to mark the 500th anniversary of the founding of the College. It was first performed by Andrew Nethsingha and the Choir of St Johns College on Saturday 26 November 2011. Harvey sets the text of The Annunciation from The Narrow Placeby Edwin Muir in this beautiful, peacefulwork.
