This clever children's fable tells the tale of the Little Red Hen, who asks for help from the barnyard animals while baking bread. Her requests are all answered with a hearty “No!” until it becomes time to eat the final result. The animals realize they were wrong in not helping with the baking and promise to be more considerate the next time.
