*3 World Winds* was commissioned by world class solo trumpet artist and educator, Rex Richardson and Virginia Commonwealth University. It is a tonal, colorful, programatic piece whose demanding solo part requires the use of B-flat trumpet, flugel horn, and piccolo trumpet. Above all else, *3 World Winds* was created to entertain, surprise, convey emotion, and bring beauty to those listening. Enjoy!
