Tricky Fingers 3 follows on from Tricky Fingers: A First Book for Beginner Strings and Tricky Fingers 2. The series of tutor books for string players in the early stages of learning caters for mixed-instrument group lessons (violin, viola, cello, double bass), but can also be used for individual instruction.
Building on the foundation laid in the first two books, Tricky Fingers 3 takes students further along their musical journey by introducing new concepts and technical skills through carefully sequenced pieces and exercises. Tricky Fingers 3 maintains the core aim of the series: to help students establish a solid musical and technical foundation that will facilitate their long-term development as musicians.
